The 700 series offers 714 sq. inches of cooking space across two levels with a cast iron and a stainless steel cooking grate. For indirect cooking, the lava stone comes in handy for deflecting heat, allowing you to smoke slowly and evenly. A cast iron charcoal basket holds your fuel and comes with a stainless steel starter pocket. As a added feature, the 700 comes equipped with an electric starter which can be pushed through the electric starter port on the ash drawer and into the charcoal bed for effortless and reliable ignition. Attached to the side of the grill are two slatted walnut shelves that add plenty of storage or prep area and can be folded away for convenience. The cast iron top vent, bottom cooking dial, and temperature gauge all come with innovative color- coded heat zone controls, letting you easily and reliably optimize your cooking temperature. A flexible LED cooking light is included that attaches to the front of the grill for extra effectiveness in the dark. The thick ceramic firebowl and outer body let you grill at competition level in any climate. As part of the innovative design that Icon Grills has developed, the ash drawer can be taken out and replaced with the Quick Change Gas Insert.
